3-Band EQ
The 3-Band EQ FX shapes the tone of the audio routed through it with a low shelf, a parametric mid band, and a high shelf. Like all FX, it receives audio via Delay Lines or its external input channel.
3-Band EQ Properties#
- Low Freq: The corner frequency of the low shelf. Frequencies below this are boosted or cut by the Low Gain knob.
- Low Gain: How much to boost (positive) or cut (negative) the low end below the low frequency. A value of 0 dB is flat.
- Mid Freq: The center frequency of the parametric mid band, where the boost or cut is focused.
- Mid Q: The width of the mid band. Low Q values affect a broad range of frequencies; high Q values are surgical and pinpoint.
- Mid Gain: How much to boost (positive) or cut (negative) the mid band around the mid frequency. A value of 0 dB is flat.
- High Freq: The corner frequency of the high shelf. Frequencies above this are boosted or cut by the High Gain knob.
- High Gain: How much to boost (positive) or cut (negative) the high end above the high frequency. A value of 0 dB is flat.
